Just a another Tuesday...

Playing again last night....

Crappy pics of this layout - it was dark, so no natural lighting - but oh well...you get the idea.

Heading to Poplar Bluff Saturday for National Scrapbook day to teach classes - should be a blast. I will post pics of my class projects later when I get a chance. More later...gotta work now. (Yeah, right!)

An ER Trip, Little Brother and a layout....

Huh?! Well...Chris went fishing Saturday out at mom's - he took Nick with him, I ran to town to pick up meds for Nick. I had been home long enough to start the washer and take off my shoes when Mom calls and says you need to come get Chris...he has a fish hook stuck in his chin and I can't get it out. Crap! Are you freaking kidding me? So I fly out to Mom's and sure enough...what's left of a fish hook is sticking out of the underneath side of his chin. Mom got the hook cut off but then couldn't figure out which way to pull it to get it out. So off we go...back to town to the ER to get the hook removed and get a Tetnus shot. 3 hours later we are home and he is fine...embarassed and done fishing for a while, but fine.


Spent the rest of Saturday at Mom's with my litte brother, John and two of his kids...oh yeah, and his "not a real dog" Dozer.



This dog cracks me up! And to see my brother wagging it around is too funny...but he loves the little thing, so I try not to tease him too much....ok not really, but it sounded good.
















Hanging out at home today - rearranged some stuff in my scrapping room and have done about 100 loads of laundry (ok, 5 but still.....) and I did a page! Check it out...

Just some random pics I took one day on my way to Grandma's - journaling says "no matter where I go; no matter how old I get...this will always be the way home for me - the crazy roads, the 'fresh' air - all of it -- Home."

Holy rude awakening, Batman!

Are you freaking kidding me?! An earthquake at 4:30 this morning...yikes! I was actually awake, or rather just drifting back to sleep after having gotten up to go to the bathroom. I laid there in bed thinking is this really an earthquake? Am I awake? So weird! My poor kitties are still flipping out - pacing and meowing -poor babies. Chris totally slept through it - didn't even believe me when I told him...until he heard it on the news. Then he was mad that he missed it - goofball!

Cynde, Rona and I will be teaching some classes in Poplar Bluff on National Scrapbook day (May 3rd) - I am finishing up my projects this weekend and will post pics. I will post more info as soon as I have it - times, address, etc.
Should be a good time!

Ack!

More rain...severe storms, hail, tornadoes...Damn, I feel like I should change my name to Dorthy and move to Oz! I so hate storms! They just scare the crap out of me! Hopefully it will all move through during the day today and not after dark tonight - I won't sleep at home if it's gonna be bad tonight! Seriuosly, I'm a big chicken sh*t! Laugh all you want :-) don't care...LOL!

Chris came to work with me today - he's got nasty stomach bug, and with the threat of serious severe weather, I didn't feel comfortable leaving him at home alone..so I'm sure he will be driving me nuts all day, but at least he's safe!

I am finalizing details for a couple classes that I will be teaching (along with 2 from Cynde and at least 1 from Rona) on National Scrapbooks Day May 3rd - so watch for details coming soon :-)

Off to the Dr. this evening to get drugs to get rid of this coughing, hacking, sore throat crap that I have ended up with...again! So tired of it!
