Get ready for a Holly Jolly Holiday Hop!

Here are three Christmas tree ornaments I made especially for you!

This one uses a sheer Maya Road mini book page painted with Sheer Gold Shimmer paint. The chipboard bird (also Maya Road) is painted brown and then painted again with glitter paint. A Basic Grey rub-on and piece of ribbon finish it off.

More Maya Road chipboard here...the bird and the tree branch...LOVE these! The branch is painted brown and then covered with clear crackle glaze (Glossy Accents Crackle). For the bird, I started with a base coat of deep red, then covered with pink Distress/Crackle paint from Tim Holtz. Then I glazed it with a coat of Glossy Accents for shine. I added a little Prima flower to the branch and a ribbon to hang. I think this is my favorite :)

This one was very simple also...A clear Meaking Memories frame, backed with some Basic Grey Christmas paper from ages ago, and a 7Gypsies sticker in the middle make the base. The chipboard bird is painted with copper glaze (Making Memories, I think). Then I jsut added a small rub-on on the wing and a touch of bling.
I hope you enjoyed these little ornaments! I know I had a blast making them...
Here are the rest of SSC Design Teams blogs...don't forget to comment on each one...You never know where a prize might be!

I already follow your blog via my google homepage and like keeping up on your work. Thanks for letting us take a peak at your work for the hop.
